The well-being of our patients and residents remains our highest priority. This is a critical time for our PruittHealth family, as we implement proper prevention and control measures in our locations for the coronavirus (COVID-19). We currently have no known COVID-19 cases in our PruittHealth locations.

We understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important, but currently, we request that you do not visit your loved one’s PruittHealth center or residence if you have any symptoms of respiratory illness, including cough, fever, and/or shortness of breath. There are many other ways you might consider connecting with your loved one, including telephone, email, text, or social media.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we safeguard our patients and residents. We continue to learn and receive new updates multiple times a day as we closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization guidelines. Effective immediately, below are additional measures we are taking to help prevent the spread of infectious disease in our locations:

  • Emergency Operations Center – we have activated our emergency operations call center for this evolving situation. This number is not meant for use by the general public, but rather for our partners, customers, patients, residents, and family members to use should they have questions about our disease protocol.
  • Location Visitation Hours – under guidance from the Department of Health and Human Services, we are discouraging visitors to our facilities. For those family members compelled to visit, we have shortened family visiting hours to between 9-11 am and 4-6 pm daily. Dinner will begin after visitors exit the building.
  • Meals & ADLs – family involvement with meals and ADLs will be limited at this time to avoid direct contact with our patients.
  • Onsite Screening – all PruittHealth locations are now screening all partners, visitors, vendors, patients, and residents upon entering our buildings. You will only be able to enter through the location’s main entrance for proper screening protocol.
