Healthcare Center Brings Augusta National to its Residents
AUGUSTA, GA (April 4, 2018) – PruittHealth – Augusta Hills will be hosting a "Par-Tee" Competition to welcome the Masters golf tournament to Augusta.
While the residents of the skilled nursing facility are not able to attend the Masters at the Augusta National, caregivers wanted there to be an opportunity for the residents to have a little bit of the Augusta National brought to them, with games and activities themed around and happening on the day of the Masters Par Three competition. The residents will have their own putting competition that will end with a green jacket ceremony. The food will feature August National staples, such as pimento cheese sandwiches and peach ice cream. The celebration will be open to the public.
"We are so excited to host our own Masters party to give the residents an opportunity to celebrate the Masters," says Ashlyn Broderick, Administrator at PruittHealth – Augusta Hills. "This is going to be such a fun day for us and a wonderful opportunity to make sure our residents feel very much a part of the Augusta community."
The party will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in Augusta, Georgia at the PruittHealth – Augusta Hills facility (located at 2122 Cumming Rd.) starting at 2:30 p.m. To RSVP or learn more information about the event, please contact Ashlyn Broderick at firstname.lastname@example.org or (706) 737-8258.
